Alte Molkerei in Klütz

Description

Monika Kuhfuss - Sound artist from Klützer Winkel

Monika Kuhfuss creates unusual, new soundscapes by hand and voice using resonance bodies made of metal, wood, goat skin, as well as wooden string carriers. She prefers instruments such as the handpan, steel tongue drum, frame drum, berimbau, and multichord. Her interest also lies in improvised and intuitive collaboration with musicians from different genres. The music cannot be assigned to one direction; it is freely presented within chosen tonal patterns and moods. Upon request, emphasis can be placed on specific tones to stimulate the targeted activation of individual chakras. At times reminiscent of "minimal music" on the piano, it resonates spherically, mystically, melancholically, grounding, supportive, and centering. The artist invites you to unwind, relax, dream, and heal.
