"Sand, sun and fun“ – welcome to the grand "Sandcastle Competition" on the beautiful Baltic Sea coast! Under the motto "Shovel - set - go!" the beach season in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is kicked off.
Pack your shovels and sunscreen and head to Wohlenberg, where the idyllic beach becomes the stage for the annual competition for the most beautiful sandcastle. Whether you're an enthusiastic spectator admiring the impressive creations or a creative architect participating in the competition yourself – everyone is welcome!
Dig and build to your heart's content, alone, with a partner, or in a big team. Our buckets and shovels are ready for you and at the picturesque beach of Wohlenberg, you'll find plenty of building materials like sand, water and stones. Of course, you're also welcome to bring your own decorative materials and tools to give your sandcastle a personal touch.
Let your creativity run wild! The sandcastle builders with the most extraordinary castles will be honoured. So, join us and create an unforgettable day full of fun, sun and fantastic sand art!

The deadline for registration is May 10, 2024 (the number of teams is limited). Depending on availability, on-site registration is also possible on the day of the event.
